This project consisted of designing magazine spreads around an article from the conversation.com; the article discussing Australia's wildlife crisis, and that the government aren't fronting enough financial support to tackle this. Juxtaposed collages and an experimental-style layout of typography gave this outcome a uniquely interesting look to catch the eye of my young-adult target audience.
Protection Over Profit:
This brief was asking for a book cover design for Lord of the Flies, with the cover having to communicate something from the story. I designed 3 separate covers, each representing a key theme of the story, using a hand-illustrated typeface and a combination of digital and by-hand techniques.

Book spreads, a front cover and a promotional animation were created for this project around the "City Typography" text, which consists of two articles on typography's place and influence on urban areas.
This was a self-decided brief to design a magazine to promote national tourism as opposed to international travel (whilst the risks of COVID19 are still present). The magazine named "Staysafecation" highlighted safe things to do and places to visit from counties of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to a target audience of family holiday-makers.
